North Zone (Seven Ponds Township to Rangeley). FLY-FISHING ONLY; closed to the taking of smelts; brook trout 2 / day, 10 in min, only 1 may exceed 12 in; landlocked salmon 1 / day. From August 16 – September 30 fly-fishing-only catch-and-release — all trout, landlocked salmon and togue must be released alive at once. Tributaries fly-only and closed to fishing after August 15.
