Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-05-20
The short version
fishregsis a static information site. We do not run user accounts, store form submissions on our servers, or sell user data. Where third-party services receive information about your visit (for example, our hosting provider's edge network, or — if enabled in the future — analytics and advertising), this page tells you who they are and what they get.
Data we collect directly
None. fishregs pages are statically generated. No login, no saved-state, no form processing on our infrastructure at this time. If and when we ship features requiring an account (for example, saved- state alerts), this policy will be updated before launch.
Third parties that may process your visit
- Hosting / CDN — our pages are served via a content-delivery network. The CDN sees standard request data (IP address, User-Agent, requested URL, timestamp) needed to deliver the page and to defend against abuse.
- Advertising— when display advertising is enabled, ad networks may set cookies or use similar identifiers to show relevant ads and measure performance. Ad networks operate under their own privacy policies. You can opt out of personalised advertising via your browser settings or your operating system's ad-tracking controls.
- Analytics — if analytics are enabled, aggregated visit data (pages viewed, referrer, country-level location) may be recorded. We do not combine analytics with personally identifiable information.
Cookies and local storage
fishregsstores one preference in your browser's local storage: your chosen dark / light theme. That value never leaves your device. Advertising or analytics, if enabled, may set additional cookies as described above.
Your rights
Because we don't maintain user accounts or store form submissions, there's no profile on our side to access, correct, or delete. For third-party services (ads, analytics, the CDN), exercise your rights directly with those providers — they are the controllers of any data they collect.
Children
fishregs is general-audience reference content and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the effective date above is updated. We will not retroactively reduce the rights of visitors under previously published versions.
