  • North Zone (T10 R12 WELS to Allagash; the Allagash Wilderness Waterway). From Churchill Dam downstream to the markers at the confluence of Chisholm Brook: artificial lures only, brook trout 2 / day with only 1 over 14 in; from August 16 – September 30 artificial lures only, brook trout 12 in min, and a total daily bag of 1 trout or togue; fishing in or from the Churchill Dam fishway is prohibited. From Long Lake Dam downstream to Allagash Falls and all tributaries: from August 16 – September 30 artificial lures only with a total daily bag of 1 trout or togue. From Allagash Falls downstream to the Saint John River: live baitfish and live smelts permitted (taking of live baitfish prohibited except by hook and line), the general-law maximum length on landlocked salmon does not apply, and from October 1 – November 30 artificial lures only and open to taking bass and muskellunge only.
